Hello all,
Well the Elite Series is moving full steam ahead in preparation for this weekends exciting Keystone State Open. Registrations have been rolling in and the Board has had a fresh meeting tonight in regards to double and triple checking our long list of key areas of concern.
Tomorrow night we will be delivering the over 800 hay bails and 600 tires we are using for surrounding the track for safety. We will also be having a closed door session on the track to test the scoring system loop in the track. This will not be open to the public for insurance reasons since no pit passes will be offered and insurance liabilities. But we will report what we learned on our web page and face book page for gearing.
Remember this will most certainly not be a finished track surface that will reflect accurate information, but will be ball park only to help some figure out gear starting points.
Online Registration closes Thursday May 2nd at 5 pm sharp. So if you want the extra tickets for the kart drawing giveaway and want to avoid the long lines, take advantage.
There is NO general admission for this event. The entire facility will be considered pit area. One day pit pass will be $15.00 and two day are $25.00. We are hoping to open Registration at the track by 5-6 pm on Friday. We will also be selling pit passes on Friday night as well. The parking will begin shortly after Registration opens. Remember everyone will have to have a pit pass to enter the pits no matter what.
The parking map has been posted and for all those that are coming on Friday we suggest the following. When you arrive, on the map you will see 5 lines. 2-5 are designated for first come first serve parkers. The sponsors have their own line. Fill the lines closest to the grandstand first and work your way out to the road. Row 5 will be the first one released to the pits after sponsors go in. This allows for the max amount of vehicles to fill the parking lot and not block other rows. Row 5 can go all the way down the front stretch and around turn 4. Once that row is fairly long start filling row 4. You will see we fill the pits extremely organized and fast. Provided you show up with your map and what you want. The biggest delays are when people show up un-prepared.
As our standard disclaimer that many already know about us. Don't believe everything you hear from you social media friends, or enemy for that matter. Some out there like to have hidden agenda's and stir the pot so to speak. We at the Elite Series are a Professional Series, and will act like one. So if we post it on our webpage or face book page, well then it's real. We have everyone's best interest at our forefront and didn't work for the past 6 months this hard to not double and triple check things. Rumors and hearsay in today's world are usually driven by some for a reason.
The real racers are still out there and we appreciate the massive support we have received on this, at times overwhelming task, we're trying to pull off. We fully understand all eyes are on this endeavor, and we will be judged by the cover, but The Elite Series is ready for that test. We know we will make mistakes, but also know what effort is going into this.
Stay tuned everyday to our forum and face book for any last minute things we forgot to announce or want to get out, otherwise get those pockets ready for some real money and excitement.
