Will we be running restrictors in the kid karts ? and what is the motor rules?? stock comer 50/51?

Yes we will be using restrictor plates,and following the rules that WKA has set forth in there current rule book.Thank You Dale

Why the addition of the restriction plates? The kid karts didn't use them in the PDKS series.

We feel that some of the tracks we will be attending this year require the restrictor plate due to their size and speed .The restrictor plate is used in the interest of safety at these tracks,i hope you understand. If on race day all parents of the pee wee class feel differently then we can discuss it then. Thank You Dale

Thanks Dale. Of course we understand safety issues. It would be great to have a meeting with all pee wee drivers and parents prior to the racing. Last year there were some grey areas with positioning etc for heat races and features etc. Also, if it is decided that restrictors are to be used it would be great to discuss rolling starts as an option. Thanks again for your time. We are looking forward to racing in May.
