Well the test session for the scoring system went extremely well and all systems go.
While there we obviously had to crank up the karts on the track to see the racing groove to place the hay bails properly. I will simply put it this way without going into alot of details, but the smile on Dale Johnson's face after running fast laps around SSP said it all for me. He gave me the thumbs and was very impressed and it's not even close to what our racers will be on.
We had a 20tooth driver on the clutch and 65 on the back, The track had no moisture and we turned around 6200 rpm in a Sr Champ heavy. So use that for what you will, but at least we got something to report for you.
Tomorrow will be another very busy day laying out the hay bails and all the other things needed for set-up.
Remember tomorrow at 5 pm Pre-registration will be closed and you will be dealing with the lines. The amount of people coming Friday night has grown to a rather larger amount. pre-registration is already on pace to break a record
Remember there is no general admission, everyone will have to buy a pit pass, except 2 yrs and younger, which the series and track will pick up.
We will be posting the event shirts and apparel tomorrow, along with some other surprises for this event.
Thanks to all that have given this a chance and things are really turning into the mega event we hoped it would. There are so many people to thanks for this.
